P25 P1 decoding.

I'm tying to listen to Sacramento's P25 PI system, lots of people still use it.

I know how to decode the signal with DSD+(I think), but i just don't know which freq to select.

I'm guessing I can't follow a talk group around. I can only listen to one freq. and that might only be half of the conversation. Is this the reason people buy Trunking scanners, so it can follow the talk group?

Track multiple satellites with orbitron

Hey guys I want to automatize my windows groundstation to receive noaa 15, 18, 19 and meteor M2

The only problem is that it appears orbitron can track only one satellite at a time

Any solutions?

Antennas • Re: Magnetic Loop distance?

Depends on the frequency and direction of the signal you want to receive.

Certain separation distances between 2 antennas can create directional nulls at certain frequencies (depending on how you phase the antenna's). But those distances and directions change with frequency.

I recently applied for a job and I’ve been given a task that I’m not sure how to complete using an rtl-SDR. I am somewhat familiar, but need some direction if possible.

Hello all. As the title says, I recently applied for a job and they've given me a task that doesn't seem to make sense to me. They sent me this device https://www.adafruit.com/product/1497 and have asked me to decode something (preferably GNU Radio) and not AM or FM audio signals. It's been years since my undergrad where they just spoon-feed you labs and code for this stuff. I've got GNU-radio up and running.

So my questions are:

1.) What can I decode in GNU-radio in this frequency range that's not AM or FM audio?

2.) I've been looking online for about 8 hours and not able to find ANY examples of receiving audio and demodulating in GNU radio at my frequency range. All the setups I've seen are using SDR# and other hardware to transmit.

Thank you in advance. I'm pretty clueless on how this little antenna is supposed to work for anything!
