Comment on Beta testing a modified RTL-SDR Driver for L-band heat issues by Conundrum

Can confirm it works well. I also modded my unit for higher precision but need to rewrite the e2prom to reflect the change. At the moment the oscillator is -56 but rock solid.

Здравствуйте. Устройство RTL2832U R820T2 TCXO+BIAS T+HF.
Прога потребляет примерно 33% проца (Intel iCore 5, 16GB RAM).
Звук лагает, видимо, из-за этого.
Почему бы это могло быть?
Рассматривал как аналог SDR#, но теперь под вопросом.

RTLSDRs and chromebooks with ARM processors

Hello,

I am thinking on switch to a chromebook because of the lightweight. How hard would be to run GNU Radio and other programs such as SDR# on a ARM based chromebook? (using Crostini).

Thanks in advance

RTL-SDR Discussion • usb_claim_interface error -6

I've installed rtl-sdr on a raspberry pi. Now, since I'm going to use it remotely, I want to use Stephen Blinick's ring buffer rewrite of rtl_tcp as detailed here: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/significantly-i ... g-buffers/

Unfortunately, I started out by installing rtl-sdr. Now, when I run my local copy of Stephen's rtl-sdr, I get

CODE:

Kernel driver is active, or device is claimed by second instance of librtlsdr. In the first case, please either detach or blacklist the kernel module(dvb_usb_rtl28xxu), or enable automatic detaching at compile time.usb_claim_interface error -6Failed to open rtlsdr device #0.
I've tried removing the official rtl-sdr, but that didn't change anything.

What does it mean that the device is claimed by a second instance of librtlsdr? How do I control, which instance of librtlsdr can claim the device?
