RTL-SDR Discussion • Recording a spectrum for Analysis

Hi,

I'd like to record in field the whole spectrum between 450 MHz and 480 MHz. I'd like to use an RPi and this kind of DVB-T USB Stick. (Or I also have an HackRF One.)

After that I'd like to analyse the recording on my machine at home to see, on what kind of frequencies I should "listen in". What kind of software can I use for this?

RTL-SDR bandwith

hi everyone,

i hope you are fine,

please i have a question about the bandwith of RTl-SDR,

in the link below i read that the bandwidth in the entrance of RTL-SDR before the sampling is 6MHZ-8MHz,

and a we now that the bandwith after sampling is 2.8MSPS for example, from -1.4/2 to +1.4/2,

my questions :

- it is right that the bandwith before the sampling is 6MHz-8mhz ??

- and for the negative part -1/4/2 , is this just a representation in baseband ??, because there is no negative frequency,

- finally, we we can't send more than 2.8MSPS, this is because the usb PORT ?? if true why ??,
