Raspberry Pi interpreting tones or signals

I would like to setup a raspberry pi to monitor a 433 mhz frequency waiting for tones, to command the pi to interpret the signal. LIke have it monitor for a 100hz tone, and then text me. or turn on an i/o pin or whatever. Fairly new to the Pi and radio so looking for a basic project to play around with it.

OK, device selection is working now. Looks like you need to install VC++ 2010 and 2012 in 32bit x86 because SDR# is a 32bit application?! I only installed 64bit x64 versions. Easy to test with the RTL_test.exe. It will tell whichever dll from VC++ is missing and if it works most likely SDR# will too.

I fresh installed Windows 10, anything RTL-SDR related worked fine before, now SDR# will not see the Dongle at all. However! I can use FMP with no problems but scanner mode is slow, of course. I installed all kinds of VC++ redists and .NET, rtlsdr.dll is there, have backup and obviously could install the driver no problem… So idk what to do.

Troubleshooting Help • Re: SDR Sharp not showing full bandwidth

Thanks for that, yes using SDR Console it shows it in full however I have a separate issue with that having a loud squelch crash/pop at the end of transmissions which SDR Sharp doesn't.

Comment on Setting up a Raspberry Pi Based AIS Receiver with an RTL-SDR by Suan

Don’t have a real AIS signal at your home? no problem, you can use Quark AIS simulation tool. https://www.tindie.com/products/Quarkelec/qk-at011-ais-transmit-simulation-terminal/.
Just connect a VHF antenna with it and you get a real AIS signal withing 10 meters distance. Good luck!

Demodulating DVB-S Digital Amateur TV with SDRAngel on Windows with an SDR

Over on YouTube Corrosive has uploaded a new tutorial video showing us how we can demodulate DVB-S DATV (Digital Amateur TV) on a Windows PC with SDRAngel. DATV is a mode used by hams to transmit and receive digital video, and SDRAngel is a multiplatform SDR software platform that supports multiple SDRs such as the RTL-SDR, HackRF, PlutoSDR, LimeSDR and more.

SDRAngel comes with a built in DATV demodulator, but it is necessary to install the FFMPEG video decoder yourself. Corrosive's tutorial shows where to download the decoder, and how to install it into SDRAngel. He then goes on to show how to use SDRAngel to begin receiving and demodulating a DATV signal.

We note that in a previous post Corrosive also showed in another video how to transmit and receive DATV with a LimeSDR and a modified $20 DVB-S receiver.

Troubleshooting Help • Re: Dont work at Android 6.0 chineese tablet

Is that 5.15V without any load? The RTL-SDR might be putting too much load on the tablet, reducing the voltage too far. Can you try with an OTG cable that has an external power port?

Troubleshooting Help • Re: zadig fails to install (5 min timeout)

Also try this alternative tool http://visualgdb.com/UsbDriverTool. Use it to install WinUSB to the same Bulk Interface, Interface 0 entry.
