Comment on New TETRA Trunk Tracker for use with SDR# and the TETRA Demodulator Plugin by thewraith2008

As I said in previous post, “You most likely have not set the “CC Park” carrier number.”
And you have not.
The video shows this to be “3648” (391.2125MHz). This is your “CC Park” carrier number.
Main carrier = “CC Park” (CC = Control Channel)

You also need to verify you are using the correct offset, or further incorrect tuning will occur.

All this is covered in the supplied documentation.

Troubleshooting Help • RTL2832U — Number Station question

Hello. I'm working with a group of students for a indie film in our university. In the script, it calls for the agent to use a SDR radio instead of a physical shortwave radio to recieve a numbers station transmision. From my understanding, most stations use SSB consisting of both USB and LSB. If this is the case, can someone give me information on how to make this most accurate?

The kit we wish to purchase is located here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011HVUEME

Along with this, the agent will be using a Linux-based OS. So if somone could advise on how to set this up, it would be most helpful.

Comment on Using a LimeSDR To Detect Aircraft Reflections from a 2.3 GHz Beacon by snn47

The plot depicts reflections and identifies the doppler shift in frequency (see http://rfcafe.com/references/electrical/doppler.htm ).
From what I know, without knowing if the plane were moving toward or away from him, the elevation angle between him and the the planes and the planes speed over ground, it is impossible to say if the doppler shifts are plausible, since I would have assumed to see at least a clear placement of reflections of the planes to be either in the positive or negative doppler shift range, unless planes were overhead and the speed close to 0. In between the aircraft reflections I would have assumed that there is no doppler frequency or a flat line at 0 kHz which is not he case.
Does anyone have an ides why the display is like it is?

thanks for tips.

If you mind, please have a look at https://youtu.be/7Phvo0oslCM .

Signal Identification Help • Re: Unknow signal

That signal looks screwed. I don't see any data in it unless it's some weird wideband modulation, but why the hell does it jump all around like that and it seems to be poorly filtered? Looks as if some device is constantly restarting itself at irregular intervals.

Your using in an old version. See forum for latest versions:

You most likely have not set the “CC Park” carrier number.
See PDF documentation that is supplied in package for further set-up details.

RTL-SDR Discussion • Re: SDR — Bandwidth

On the off chance that they do, it will consistently change from SMS to iMessage. In Messages, a client can check Get iMessage on PC

Other SDR Devices • Re: Airspy HF+ with a USB hub

Maybe the problem is your Windows 10. And sometimes it's the length of the extension cables. I hope HF+ is now working with your USB hub.

Other SDR Devices • Re: Tip Shield USB Cable!

That's good for you. Because for me it's very rarely to find a proper shield USB. Is it compatible to your Desktops?
