Comment on Reprogramming Vaisala RS-41 Radiosondes to Transmit APRS, RTTY, CW in the Ham or ISM Bands by AD5NL

I imagine one could go directly to Vaisala sales, but is there a secondary market / retailer for these?
Radiosondes seem like a rather niche market.

Meteor M2 is now dead?

I had a 86 degree pass and there was no signal. Looking for secondary confirmation.

Comment on Setting up and Testing Osmo-FL2K by Bertran

On paper you should be able to, but a computer with enough processioning power to do useful DSP in real time for three antennas will not be cheap. Maybe you could pre-computed everything offline, and streamed the raw bits from a SATA-3 SSD to the USB 3 port. I suppose it depends on what exactly you are trying to do.

I wonder… Can we transmit three independent signals by using G and B channels of the VGA as well?

Other SDR Devices • Built in T-DMB in korean samsung phone

I have one and was wondering if there is any way to get it working with SDR stuff. I tried the usb dongle driver and some apps but nothing worked. I didn't expect it to since its not a usb device.

Its model KSHV-E160lj but it also identifies as SHV-E160L

I like the idea of not even having it built into the phone but I don't know if it is the right chip or if there is a driver.

If someone wants to experiment I can try putting teamviewer on the phone and leaving it on wifi.

Comment on New RTL-SDR Receiver App for iOS Released by Rick

Sadly it uses RTL-TCP. Way to slow over 3G/4g. No ssb either. Would pay that price only if it used spy-server and supported ssb on Hf

Unitrunker — can it park faster?

I have two RTL2832U's setup for Motorola SmartNet II monitoring. Using only Unitrunker. The tuning seems to be working properly, but there's a 1-2 second delay after a call ends before the park occurs and the static stops. Pretty annoying after every call. The squelch does happen after that 1-2 seconds so it seems like it's a delay on the park itself..?

Are there some settings somewhere that I can try to reduce the time before park/squelch?
