Troubleshooting Help • Re: Multiple false signals

What you're seeing is overload of the dongle. Basically if signals are too strong the dongle can overload and cause images of the strong signals to appear all over the spectrum. This is simply the nature of how radios and SDRs work.

If you want to avoid it, you can turn down the gain, use filtering or attenuation, or spend money on buying a higher end SDR with a higher ADC resolution. ADCs with higher resolution are more resistant to overloading, but accordingly cost more.

Нужно переустановить драйвер задигом. Options — List All Devices — Reinstall. Возможно, потребуется удалить ошибочный драйвер через диспетчер устройств, и потом уже поставить задигом.

Capturing data from a cell phone RF stack?

So, we are all caring around a powerful radio receiver in our pockets, all the time! It even has decoders for FM, bluetooth, Nearfield, WiFi, GPS, and of course whatever cell phone radio signals it's getting from your service provider.

Is there any good app to capture this data? Hell, my old Samsung Galaxy S3 is just sitting in a box, looking for a life like this. Does there exist a useful service that a bunch of us backyard hackers could do with our old but perfectly functional devices? Is there a reason we couldn't access this data directly, and write a software stack (or borrow GNUradio) to do the heavy lifting?

I'm sorry that this post doesn't directly related to a RTL chip, but I thought of this community right away when this question came up.

The libtetradec.dll is in the SDR sharp folder But the crash.txt file says :

If you see “Air encryption: 0” then the channel is unencrypted. But depending on the country public services like police/fire/ambulance/rescue are typically encrypted and possibly private services like trams or other public transport may not be encrypted.

And what happens with the current (at the time of this post) version 1637 ?

minOutputSampleRate (probably case-sensitive) is a predefined key of a key-value-pair of the SDRSharp config file, SDRSharp.exe.Config. My understanding is that it specifies the IQ Sample Rate that SDRSharp internally delivers to its demodulators.
