Comment on Building a DIY AZ/EL Antenna Rotator for Satellite Tracking by http://myspace.com/hexohm/mixes/streammix-723255/photo/374002699

My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from
PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on several websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform.
I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?

Any help would be really appreciated!

Comment on A Pocket DATV Transmitter and Receiver with Raspberry Pi, LimeSDR Mini and RTL-SDR by Drone

It seems to me that comments are dropping off here. Thank You Google reCAPTCHA! This is probably my last comment for a long while (if ever) until the Google reCAPTCHA nonsense with its layers and layers of scripting spy crap is removed 🙁

I wish this was a post about making an awesome NOAA pass, or some kind of breakthrough. Normally, if leaving home for work/travel etc. I'll disconnect my SDR's and push the feed line back through the window. HOWEVER, last weekend I was getting ready to go out of town. Looked at my radio room and thought "It's all good, I'm just gone for two nights". So it was all left as is. Radio plugged into the USB hub, and connected to the feed line. Which passes through the window, and down to the antenna in the back yard. The window is opened just enough to allow the wire to pass through. Something or someone must have become snagged on the feed line as they (it) passed through my back yard. Upon returning home, I found my QFH on the ground. A little bent, but nothing too dramatic. It was finding the feed line stretched across my yard that made me recall not un-plugging from the radio. My fears were confirmed when my nearly new HackRF was found dangling from its USB cord by the window. It looks like the feed wire was snagged and dragged until the radio connected with the window frame. Resulting in a "pull until failure" situation. The feed line terminal failed and out the window it went. https://imgur.com/HH5F8RJ

I fixed the antenna, and ran a new line. Sadly, the HackRF barely even picks up the local CBC station anymore. Visually, the circuitry looks good, but lets face it. A sensitive radio device was thrown against a window frame...

Sorry for any punctuation errors or anything. this is a vent/cope/public warning post. I was lazy and didn't take the time to undo a single SMA connector. Resulting in me owning an overpriced USB powered aluminium box with led lights :( Please don't let it happen to you.

Troubleshooting Help • Re: Trouble receiving anything?

So that sounds like the freq offset in SDR # is enabled. ( -125000000 ) You would use this only if you are using an up converter to listen to the HF bands...Other than that perhaps bump up the RF gain on the sharp device popup. Catches me frequently when I say to myself....where'd everyone go?

Troubleshooting Help • Re: Trouble receiving anything?

well I don't think that that is my problem A10 8 core AMD at 4ghz with 1600 ram (8gb), I get lots of band hiss but don't see much in the way of signals.. switch back and forth between Sharp# and HDSDR and doesn't even look like the same band (says it is). I will figure it out eventually, just something I'm not doing right. If I don't find it I'll be back !!
